Croydon represented at Aviva’s Remembrance Service


The annual Service took place on the 11th November.

It was in the Plaza outside the St. Helens building.

George Culmer, Chairman, delivered the Service.

Last Post sounded at 10.59am.

CLH Followed by Two minutes silence, before wreaths were laid.

First, by the Aviva Chairman on behalf of Aviva plc,

Then, Amanda Blanc on behalf of Staff (Home & Overseas)

Followed by Chris House for retired Staff & Shareholders.

Finally, Capt. Sue Chinnock RLC for serving staff.


The Dedication followed –

“When you go home, tell them of us and say,
For your tomorrow, we gave our today”

The Final prayer was given by Rev’d William Taylor.

The Chairman then closed the Service
